The Railroad Crossing on West Main Street will be closed to traffic for repairs during the duration of July 31, starting at 5 a.m., to Aug. 10 at 10 p.m.
West Main Street will be closed at the Railroad Crossing for this duration, so all traffic needing to get from one side of Middletown to the other will need to detour around Town on either Broad Street (heading west) or U.S. 301 (heading east).
The downtown businesses will be open during this closure and parking on Main Street will be open. Downtown traffic heading west will have to turn onto S. Scott Street (left) or Wood Street (right) to exit Main Street. Heading east, traffic will have to turn onto Haveg Road (right) or Peterson Road (left) at the closure.
