Position Overview: Basic Requirements: Performs a wide range of administrative, secretarial, and coordination duties requiring a high degree of confidentiality in support of the Mayor, Town Council, and Town Manager. Responsible for meeting coordination, records management, regulatory tracking, and public-facing administrative services.

 •   Screen visitors, telephone calls, and incoming mail; respond independently when appropriate.
•    Prepare correspondence, reports, memoranda, agreements, and other documents as directed.
•    Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and Town functions for Mayor, Council, and Town Manager.
•    Provide administrative and secretarial support to Mayor, Town Council and Town Manager.
•    Attend Mayor & Council (M&C) and Planning & Zoning (P&Z) meetings, including other official meetings, and transcribe accurate minutes in a timely manner.
•    Review recorded meetings and maintain official minute books, including supporting financial documentation (Bills Payable, Treasurer’s Reports, check disbursements).
•    Prepare and assemble meeting packets for M&C and P&Z.
