Position Overview:
Basic Requirements: Inspects and monitors Town of Middletown capital projects, as well as, private residential and commercial developments to ensure compliance with the Town of Middletown specifications, standards and codes. Does other related work as required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record for last 3 years and High School Diploma/GED
• NICET Level 2 Certification or minimum of 5 years of Site Construction Inspection related experience.
• Knowledge of Civil Engineering Principles, practices and methods as applicable to a municipal setting.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to read and interpret prints and drawings and effectively communicate with builders, developers and the general public.
• DNREC CCR, and DNREC Blue card holder
