Job Posting: Heavy Equipment Operator

Position Overview: The Heavy Equipment Operator performs skilled work in the operation of a variety of heavy construction and maintenance equipment used in the construction, maintenance, and repair of streets, sidewalks, water and sewer lines, storm drains, solid waste facilities, electric infrastructure and other municipal infrastructure. The role includes manual labor tasks as needed and requires adherence to safety procedures and municipal codes.

Basic Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two (2) years of experience operating heavy construction equipment, preferably in a municipal or public works environment.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Knowledge of safe operation, maintenance, and capabilities of heavy equipment.
