Councilman David W. Thomas was elected on March 4, 2024. He has been a resident of Longmeadow since 2001.
Councilman Thomas is retired from the Delaware State Police, the US Marshal Service and the New Jersey Probation & Parole Board.
In his Councilman role, he has been appointed to oversee the Middletown Police Department.
In his spare time, he likes to travel, play golf, and is an assistant golf coach at Middletown High School. He and his wife Joann have two sons.
